First and foremost, my passions are nature, health, family and music. I’m a creative at heart and always willing to have the “geek out” conversation about any creative topic. I actively choose an outdoor lifestyle because humans need more nature in our lives (we are animals after all). My family has a long history in the health industry so naturally that has passed on to me. Health and nature are always a priority.

As for work, I have over 20 years experience in all facets of design. I’ve worked for Adidas Innovation, Under Armor and Nike. I gained a lot of wonderful experience and learned many valuable lessons at these companies. However, things started much more simply than that. I starting designing logos for my friends in high school. I was always drawing and working on my skills from a young age. I also started my own business at 14 and owned a design & screen printing shop at the age of 19. I have a unique perspective because of this experience. I know what it’s like to run a business and I also understand the process of of sourcing, development, sales and marketing. From there I went on to work in action sports and have a deep understanding of both hard goods and soft good products. As a last note on the topic of work, during my time at Nike I helped bring the Training Tees category from $5 million per season to $50 million per season before I left. I also had some styles that I pushed to innovate in ways that had never been done in the category as it relates to engineered materials and graphic application that sold over $8 million for one style alone.

Currently, I am available for apparel design, graphic apparel design, consulting, apparel art direction, and soft good innovation products. However, I am not just a designer, I understand how to take a product from concept to commercialization, build an effective and profitable line plan, the proper steps for growing your business and the vision to make innovative and fresh products.
